I said this when the Colts get to 0-13!

Mike Florio has a theory that the Colts may give Jim Tressel a shot once they have secured the first overall pick:

Here’s a theory that I’ve mentioned a time or two on PFT Live, and that also was included during the most recent episode of NBC SportsTalk. Once the Colts have “clinched” the Andrew Luck pick, the Colts will be more inclined to fire coach Jim Caldwell in the hopes of nudging the team away from its 0-16 path and/or creating the impression that the team is actually trying to win.

I like Florio's take on it. This would have the Colts firing Caldwell when the Colts reach 0-14. (0-15 for sure!) (Rams have 2 wins. If the Colts win the last 2 games, I think the Colts would still win the tie-breaker. Not 100% sure though the way the NFL figures things sometimes.)

Either way, I hope the Colts say to Caldwell.

Na, na, na, na. Na, na, na, na. Hey, hey, hey, Good-bye! :D

    • yeah but whats a drop, because at this point bryce defenders point to anything that hits a part of the receivers body as a drop  like when renfrow had to stop and twist and reach behind himself yesterday are we calling that a drop? because that's a terrible throw. Just because someone can get a paw on it doesn't mean it should have been caught or wasn't a bad throw  and his defenders get so caught up in this that they ignore the simple fact that this kind of production is just what the panthers have gotten from the QB position since he's been here, and that stretches across multiple coaching staffs and wide receiver rooms.  What's the common factor in three years of 12/25, 125 yards, maybe a TD, maybe a lost fumble, maybe an interception, around 20 points scored when things are going well
    • We'll see. I mean, I don't see us winning many games where we barely throw for under 130 yards and 0 TDs. So I'm not worried about that. If we end up with a better than expected record then Bryce will have to put up significantly better numbers.
    • Go watch his call placement to Renfrow on the year.   Or basically every WR that isn’t an eraser like TMac who can just pull of some insanity.   he should have a high completion % given where a mass % of his throw locations are
