A chance for the coaches to prove themselves

The coaches just made themselves look like idiots that were totally unprepared to coach a football game. The same thing happened week 1 against Tampa Bay. The excuse week 1 was that it was the first game of the season and we were not "gelling" yet. Week 2 we beat the Saints and it seems we are clicking and ready to roll. Then we get our asses whooped by the Giants. Now the excuses are it was a short week blah blah our coaches suck fire everybody.

The Panthers coaching staff now has 10 days to fix this damn mess. Hell, have everyone sit down and watch the Falcons play this Sunday if it helps. There is no excuse this time. There is plenty of time to prepare and get ready to play a Falcons team that beat us twice last year.

With the extra time we have to prepare over the Falcons we should have the advantage but as we just proved that is false. This game needs to be about showing signs of life. We have to be competitive. If we get blown out it may be a sign that this coaching staff is done and the players have given up on them.

The Panthers vs the Falcons is a make or break game for the coaches. If we are blown out again I can see some firings in the future.

    • ‘They’ say you lose a game for every rookie you start too.    Not too worried about the cap, I am not sure it means anything bad. They have had plenty of time to plan this out, at least pre Icky injury. Which is a monkey wrench in the works. The extension might have given them some room for this year. But they can still do a little with that maybe.    plus, we have Morgan saying he was going to attack some positions. We know what that means… $$$
    • I am high, but that’s besides the point! The blue line is not good right now. I’ve said it all year. I don’t think this group meshes well. Slaven has been just OK Niki up and down Miller up and down ghost and Walker have been your most consistent guys. Maybe it comes together more towards the playoffs
    • I was expecting to see more cap room moves by now, which may be to suggest that we are not going to be that aggressive.  I have mixed emotions about that (because I think we have 3 needs on D and 3 needs on O--starters).  If you look to the draft for 3 starters, that is ambitious.  We need 6
