Wow...

Anyone wish we would've made the deal at the draft?

OKC is balling man... Good get. They knew they couldn't re-sign him and they got tons of value for him - Lamb is going to be a good one, possibly better than Harden. I think Houston is gonna be disappointed long-term.

Still can't believe they actually did it, and did it now.

Who is MJ at 35?

You do realize they acquired Nash and Howard. He doesn't have to be MJ.

Seriously, some people just can't accept the Lakers built a superteam for the next two years. Even their bench got a whole hell of a lot better with Jamison, Meeks, retaining Hill, and Ebanks should improve significantly as well....

He could be better but I don't personally feel he will. Different players. Harden does better with the ball in his hands and Lamb is better playing off ball.

But I agree, long term, they will regret this. All their eggs are in the Harden-basket.

Love Jordan Hill. Much better than McBob who is now in Orlando. Such a hard nosed player that will show up way more than the box score.

I loved McBob because he was an effort guy. Always was working trying to secure the rebound, or make the scrappy put backs. He's the one guy I wish they wouldn't have parted with in the trade. I'm still trying to wrap my brain around cutting Goudelock and CDR, and keeping Darius Morris and Duhon....

smh...

Like the "superteam" the Dodgers built? Nash & Kobe are done. Howard is overrated. LA will regret giving away Bynum for Dwight.

i must be in the minority but i like the deal. the rockets basically only game up one first rounder. the second one they recieved from toronto when they traded lowery. they had every intention of using that pick since they recieved it to trade for a player. i like a back court of lin and harden.

    • You have gave the board some recent gold via posting. Heres my poor attempt at the truthful play-by-play of the time during post- I pulled out the old laptop to do my shitposting and check on websites. Open the huddle and see this new thread. Open thread and read CRAs post, {inner thinking, oooOOooo this is my lane and I got this}. Make sure not to scroll even to the 2nd post. 23% of current neurons still firing start up and two names appear- Captain and Josh....... about another 43 seconds past "O GOD" it's July 4th weekend and I got medicine to pick up. (If the laptop didn't give away my aging, the meds should...) I need to split, think long panther careers and the hint-  Ryan Kalil was a late 2nd and Pro bowls(even all-pros too) he's got to be OLman and Mikie Minter is among the all-time Panthers career leaders. Drop my post. Scramble to get keys, wallet, and phone. Check my phone- its 17% battery.....fug I now have to raw dog the pickup line and put the phone on charge.... Flip flops, sweat ringed filled hat, and shades acquired. Get in my pos rav4 and think about not running the A/C. Pull out the drive way and reach the 1st stop light, A/C is wide open. I check my shirt to see if there's any new stains on my house shirt, bush off the Bojangles salt that I see.... Neurons re-fire and focus on the comments CRA made that no one would get this....... Dang IT, that means it isn't Ryan Kalil or Mike Minter! CVS is close, but I know its impossible I get back withing 10 minutes to change my post and my phone is on the charger. {Think you monkey, at one point you were a draft nerd}. Reach the CVS line, by some grace its not 5 cars deep during 5 o'clock traffic hell. Im second in line after the car in front of me both turn in, they have to go back and forth to line up while Im a pro for that geometry. Neurons finally reach peak performance as Ive re-thought draft classes. Think obscure and unknown 7th rounders with long careers. Some Sunday/Monday night member berry fell out of my Melon, Will montgomery during the players intros for washington. I thought he out of the league and was shocked to see him still playing around the 2015 years. I do a goggle background check and that refreshed memory. Pick up the meds and enjoy the sweet smelling cool CVS air. Driving back and check in on one of the local bums at the big stop light, wow he's got a new fancy rug. Think about all the old food I got and need to start giving it away and rethink it. Reach home and post a follow up and I know Minter is wrong too, I check the draft history and see Robert Mcclain. Too late, but that would have been my guess....open CRAs link and get "upset" at the DBs name.
    • THANKS my guy! Keeping up with this threads theme, if I view a thread and there's only 20 posts and some time passes. If I see there's one new post and read the name; @Dave Gettleman's Shortsis among the chosen few that I will reopen that thread just to see what you posted.    Thanks again, plus not just a scout, thats scotty mccloughans son?!?!? If not for the deep claws of booze, scotty is among the best talent finders this league has recently had. Last I heard he ran a consulting business. Caden could be one of those who's on a early path to being a GM in the future. I was a big fan of his dad, dam shame about booze demon ruining his career.
