Playstation 4 Release Date October 21? (NeoGaf)

According to NeoGaf an unnamed Sony console will release on October 21st.  If it's the PS4 that would be crazy.  100 dollars cheaper then your main competition, you've already won the PR war pre-release, and you beat them out on the release date?!  Talk about knocking it out of the park for Sony.  Xbox would have a lot of catching up to do if this is true.  November still makes more sense to me, but October would be freaking awesome....

Playstation official blog finally drops the release date.  November 15th, still may have beat Xbox One to market as everything I've heard is end of November for them...

Not true.  I may still end up getting one.  At first I was definitely not getting one because of all of the DRM, Kinect...etc, hoopla.  Even though I still don't like the idea of having to buy a Kinect, which is basically what Microsoft is making people do...if they throw in a free game to offset the cost, then I may be willing.  My wife barely games, but she likes the Kinect for some odd reason...and the kids do too.  So at least it will get some use.

I'll buy one for exclusives, just like I got a WiiU for Zelda and so my wife could play Mario....

I'll admit xbox one has some good exclusives.. so I am not ruling out ever getting one but it has to be one without the kinect for sure.
