Game 40 76ers (12-25) @ Bobcats (16-23)

I understand your views. You dont understand mine.

I get that you want to win. It'd help going into the Hornets era coming off a Playoffs berth. But, you are clearly investing your future (2-3 years) by making the Playoffs this year. The talents to be a contender is not on the team right now. I dont see this team being a playoffs team next year with the same group of core guys.

I rather make the playoffs in the Hornets era than not making it. Think about it.

The chance to build your team next season with three 1st rounders (1 high lottery) in this upcoming draft will be a bigger "win" than winning 30 some games and get sweep by the Heat or Pacers.

No seriously, I understand your point of view. I just can't physically want the Bobcats to lose when we could be a playoff team. I feel sick when I think this team won't have one win in the playoffs in a decade.

Considering the team just lost to Phili tanking is starting to become the best idea.

If the pick did not go to Chicago outside the top 10, then this wouldn't be as dire of a situation for the Cats.

I think we all know with this roster, if we do make the playoffs with a 7 or 8 seed, we are getting destroyed and we lose out on the pick.

I started the season thinking playoffs, but after watching the inconsistency on this team I feel like we need to load up on talent and it's possibly the worst year to not have a top 10 pick.  If we make the playoffs, and Detroit ends up in the top 8 and keep their pick, then we will get a mid-20's pick from Portland and that's it.

As far as FA, I don't know who will be available.

As a season ticket holder, I can't actively pull for the team to lose, however, if they fight the good fight and lose I'm not upset at the end of games.  After a half season to evaluate, I really feel like getting picks in this draft is in the best interest of this team in the long haul.  Everyone in the East will get better, we need to as well.

I think there is a great core here but they need another piece or two.  It's a very Bobcats thing to do when you are rebuilding and then decide to rush the job and compete in the worst year in 10 years to do so.

Its hard for a knuckle head to consider others opinion.

Yea, we just loss to the Sixers. Whom their best player is really their rookie. And you really expect this team to be playoffs material? Im done with this convo.

You don't understand.. At all.....

I know this team sucks, I know any other year we wouldn't be a playoff team. I just can't. I can't root for this team to lose. For a decade all I've heard is lets just tank for one more year. "One more year guys"

It has been the only real option all along.

You dont even understand yourself.

Look kid, I'm fuging tired of your poo. I've tried to logically talk to you. All you and SuperJTheGreat do is troll. When someone is trying to have a debate you don't act like a 12 year old. Unless you can show me the same respect I show your opinions don't bother looking for a reply.

Grow up.

Im not a kid. Im a damn 24 yr old adult.

Im the one trying to put some sense inside your head. But being a knuckle head only your opinion matters to you. Be open minded dude. The best thing right now going forward is getting three 1st rounders. Be happy with 28 wins. Thats a lot of wins.

Listen to my words one more time.

I know this team is tanking, I know tanking is the best option at this point. BUT.. As a fan I still want to see us win and get a playoff win as the Bobcats. I know it's not going to happen but its called being a hopeful fan.

I said 50 some posts before this that I dont want to be a "good fan". If being a good fan is going to cost this team its future, i want no part of it. Nada.

I said I was being a hopeful fan. I said nothing about you being or not being a good fan. If I did it was by mistake.

    • Yeah okay. We as an organization have been more patient with him than many. And there has been a small parade of guys drafted since he was, also to bad teams, that have passed him. Some have lapped him. As a fan I am out of patience but he gets this year it is out of my hands always has been. I just hope the bar is higher than it has been for him.    FWIW, XL dropped two passes last year. He did do some other bad stuff, just saying.
    • Except it takes those QB's a few years to develop because they needed to learn the mental side of the game and have it catch up to their physical attributes. Bryce was supposed to be a QB savant who already had a fully developed mental side of the game and that was going to make up for his lack of physical ability.  And his lack of NFL level QB physical traits has been clear as day to anyone who has watched him the last 3 years, mainly, he just doesn't have an NFL arm, he can't zip the ball into tight spaces or throw on a line down the field like is needed at this level.
    • Don’t recall seeing many of his interviews but what strikes me is that he engages and goes in depth. Even with the cliche answers as referenced by OP come across somewhat thoughtful.  Very likable personality despite being someone who can crush an average person like I can crush a paper cup. I knew Motons mother had a career at MSU but was looking on the google and found that Mushin Muhammad personally knew Motons grandfather.   His late grandfather was a professor at MSU.   Cool guy.  Interesting family and small world.
