  1. I say this would be an awesome deal. CJ is a very solid player and great locker room guy. If we can hang onto him for a couple of more years at a reasonable and cap friendly salary I'm all for it. I think he will be back to form next year if he can get and stay healthy.  I still think we need to try and draft a future replacement this we've seen with Hardy and Ealy, it takes a couple of years for these guys to develop into solid starters.  I personally think Ealy is set up nicely for a breakout season next year. He has flashed all year but I think his Super Bowl performance really showed him what he is capable of. Hopefully he can turn that into motivation to put in the hard work necessary this off season to come in and be a beast next year.
  2. 2016 Top NFL free agents - running backs

I get kind of a Stephen Davis vibe from Alfred Morris. Supposedly washed up Redskins back, has had some serious success, defiantly has some tread left on the tires, could be had on the cheap. Come on to Charlotte and we will ride you to a Super Bowl.
  3. Carolina Panthers Top 3 Offseason Priorities

Seems like it would be in everyone's best interest if JNo signs a 4 year deal here for a hometown discount, that pays him $9-10 Million a year. We get him for a relative bargain and he gets financial security. If we end up tagging him...sure he gets $14 Million but with no other guarantee. Maybe he has a sub par year, maybe he gets hurt. He will also be going on 30 this time next year, will other teams be willing to pay shell out top flight CB money to a 30 year old CB? I think Revis was about 30 when he got his last deal...but will JNo really command Revis money? I trust your sources just thinking out loud.
  4. Arthur Blank.... Prostate Cancer

Seems like a solid enough dude...and hey I freaking love Home Depot. Keep Pounding Sir.
  5. "Show me a good loser... "

I freaking love this guy. That's right... I'm  31 years old, fairly successful, and I seriously lookup to a 26 year old athlete. This kid is great and knows it.
  6. If Cam Newton wasn't a Panther...

I'll bet a majority of fans of teams not QB'd by someone named Rodgers, Luck, or Brady would trade their guy for Cam straight up and cheer like crazy for him.   I would follow suit by calling him a immature thug (jk)
  7. Cam will find motivation in this, no doubt. He is who he is and I could give a hoot that he got up and walked out of that press conference. He said everything he needed to say. The offense as a whole (including Cam) played extremely poorly and Denver just flat out made more plays. What else was he supposed to say? Cam said more in 2 minutes with his freaking body language and abrupt exit than any other player in the NFL when they talk for 15 minutes after a game.
  8. Deangelo Williams picks....

Wow...Deangelo clearly still butthurt. Too bad they don't make band aids for feelings.
  9. Panther fans who HATE Cam Newton

I know several Panther fans who, up until the last half of this season, would say with a straight face that the "jury's still out on Cam," some will STILL say this. They would make the old argument, that Cam is pretty good, but maybe one day when he grows up and stops wearing that stupid towel on his head and dancing for first downs, he will be great. This stupid co worker of mine said this to someone yesterday and I overheard it. It took everything I had to not be like WTF!? I think what pisses these people off is that Cam has become one of the best QBs in the league and it didn't take him giving up who he is to do it. I understand if you don't like it when he celebrates first downs or touchdowns against your team, I don't like it when DE's celebrate sacks against us. But the sack upsets me WAY more than the silly dance. If you are a Panther fan and can't cheer for Cam, that is an indictment of you, not him.
  10. Denver fans have officially pissed me off!

This so hilarious!! I'm gonna throw a Peyton Manning likeness in a wheel chair and attach it to my hood!
  11. Rawr Rawr Rawr. He's back!

  12. Wait... what?

Chris Weinke...our first heisman trophy winner.
  13. In Hindsight, 2010 Was Worth It

Don't forget 2001...we went 1-15 with Chris Weinke as our starting QB and George Seifert as our coach. If memory serves, we won out in the preseason and then won the season opener. We then proceeded to lose EVERY game after that in convincing fashion. My old man had PSLs (and still does) so we went to every that year, staying til the bitter end of each one. This was out of no sense of team spirit or loyalty mind you, it was entirety because my dad is legendarily cheap; and if the man pays for something, you better believe he is going to get his money's worth.  We as a fan base have DEFINITELY earned this.
  14. 89 Panther 4 Life! Bottom Line

Hope Smitty gets his statue when he finally hangs it up. He certainly deserves it. That Sam Mills statue still gives me goosebumps every time I walk up to it.
