  1. PFF tags the 16 Worst picks in 2016 Draft

PFF grades based on production, Seattle drafts based on traits. so makes sense they dont match up. both models can work, and some mixture of the two is best
  2. Miller consistently has had panthers draft news this offseason (workout news/reactions, etc). He likelyhas at least one legitimate panthers contact. That person may not be setting the board, but he isn't making it up. I'd argue he is one of the best draft analysts as well. BR gets a bad rep but has dramatically improved over to pat few years ( Howard beck fornba , etc)
  3. Miller does seem like a fit. Other mid-lateround fits -Eric Murray, ZachSanchez, Deondre Hall noy saying these are necessarily the best guys, but slower, zone CB with good ball and tackling instincts. If if we go early I say it's Willian Jackson or Xavien Howard
  4. Panthers sign DT Soliai; 2 yrs, $7M

panthers were surprisingly bad on D against short yardage situations last year. Surely G-Man saw this and thus is bringing in more run stopping help for those scenarios + to give Star a breather
  5. Gettleman and Rivera Presser

Ron doesn't seem overly pumped up about this one. The past two years they were both all smiles in similar interviews. This year..not so much
  6. If it came down to Peat or Perriman....

Cam of all qbs needs good hands. He throws so hard
  7. Panthers Sign Michael Oher

To be fair, I make a lot more money than anyone who works for the panthers outside of maybe gettleman and the players. But yah he sucks. No real way around it. Literally anyone else would have been better
  8. i do recall not liking the signing when they made it, yes. hes just not good. even in a passing only role I dont want him. realistically, as a TE, he will do a lot of blocking no matter what.
  9. meh, why sign a TE who cant block, then ask him to block? the #2 TE in our scheme will always have to block a lot. he is a "receiving TE" with shoddy hands and an inability to block.
  10. i dont think most people realize how much you are hurt by having well below average players on the field. you can have all the great players you want, but a few just horrible players screw up everything. we have had far too many of those recently. simply mediocre players arent that hard to come by cason + decoud absolutely crushed our defense at the beginning of last season. you could say the same about horton, bell, chandler, white (i think he can turn it around, was injured last year). they were all pretty awful last year. dickson, dwan and cole were well below average as well, though they werent so bad they hurt us a great deal.
  11. Oher is the Antoine Cason of Offensive Tackles. NO upside. lots of downside.
  12. http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/eye-on-football/25037617/agents-take-nfl-key-dates-and-what-they-mean-for-your-team Whole bunch of key offseason dates for players to get cut, bonuses etc. feb 15 prob the most relevant to us as that's when Doug free becomes fa
  13. 4 Things Greg Hardy Must Do to Remain a Panther

In my mind the bigger contract he gets with another team the better. Then we get a 3rd round comp pick
