Don't think he plays that slow. Had almost 1000 yards receiving in the SEC. Worth a look.

  3. Falcons Fans: Carolina Gets It

Their gem of a GM keeps paying dividends for us. The Neal pick at that spot was simply moronic. Also, loved the genius in that thread that somehow reconciled the fact that since Kelvin Benjamin was on the 7-9-1 team, we will regress back to that point when he returns (even though his return greatly bolsters the WR corps that were on a 15-1 squad last year). Can't make this stuff up, folks...
  4. Given Gettleman's love of pass rushers and a strong Dline, I don't think he addresses corner in the first. I think if a Lawson, Dodd, Ogbah, etc. is there, that will be the pick. Might even select a DT to reinforce that position.
  5. As a Tennessee fan, I've also got to include Jalen Hurd, as I think he'll leave early. He's even bigger than Henry (6'4 240) and had 1300 yards last season in split duties with Alvin Kamara, who I also think leaves early, and will be a good change of pace guy in the NFL. As for D.Henry, I don't like the first round selection on him, but I trust Gettleman's evaluations 100%. His picks have been stellar thus far during his run as GM.

Don't disagree with Vardy getting sent off, and honestly thought it was great refereeing to see him alter his run so that he got run into. That said,Huth getting absolutely mugged in the penalty area without a call was laughable. Overall, I thought the game ended right where it should have, with both teams receiving a point. As for Liverpool, beat Bournemouth with mostly young and rotation players. Cannot wait for what next season brings under Klopp.
  7. 2015/16 UEFA Champions League

Was losing my mind at work in my cubicle. Once they went down 3-1 aggregate, I thought it was all over. Man, what a comeback and what a game. Can't wait to see what Klopp does once he gets some of his own signings in...

His passing/dribbling has gone down considerably, and he gives away possession a lotthis season when he's pressured/pressed. Lovren does not have those issues and his play of late should solidify him as a starter there, and I don't believe JK is bringing inMatip in to sit on the bench. He'll play. If Sakho and Skrtelare kept around as backups/sporadic players, I'm good with it, but it's obvious an upgrade is needed there. Also, I'm aware that Mignolet was just extended, but I've just never been convinced that he's EPL starter quality, especially at a club like Liverpool. I think looking for a GK is in Liverpool's best interest.

Good game by both squads. However, Sakho and Milner played like ass. Sakho has become a massive liability andneeds to be handed his walking papers after the season is done.Lovren and the new signing are the future at center back. Today also showed how important the Brazilian duo are (Coutinho goal, Firmino being out). Both are key to Liverpool's attack.
  10. I don't think Quinn is a bad coach. Like others have said, I thinkDimitroff is one of the worst GMsin the NFL. Poor drafting is a death sentence in this league, and the Falcons have drafted poorly since he's been there.

Woof, terrible display by Liverpool to allow a 2-0 lead to evaporate into a 3-2 defeat in the second half.
  12. Kevin Dodd Visting Panthers Today

Even with a flagged injury, you've got to take him if he's there at 30. Both Clemson DEs were fantastic this season.
  13. Calvin Johnson retires per A.Shefter

Has as many yards as Michael Irvin in only 9 seasons, but I think this era of pass-happy football will hurt his stock as well. A lot more opportunities for modern receivers.
  14. Calvin Johnson retires per A.Shefter

Freak of nature receiver. Not sure he's HOF bound, though. Like another poster said, he's Hall of Good. I think his resume is too incomplete. Honestly feel sorry for the guy. That franchise and his QB let him down, as I think he had potential to be one of the GOATs or very close to it.
  15. Peyton Manning retires

    Classy post by our QB!
