  1. Walking Dead Season 6

There were things I didn't like about the episode, leaving Deanna alone with the baby right after talking about how they can't leave Deanna alone with the baby being one of them, but I liked the way that there were a lot of one on one moments with different characters. Thought that Michonnes arc was good. Enough scary moments as well. People need to also remember that this is a basic cable TV show and regardless of the ratings they are on a budget and have to space out the big scenes - first ep next spring should be a big one. Didn't mind having this ep a big tease really.

  3. Ted Cruz Joins the Idiocy Parade

Cruz is correct in that since young black males make us the majority of our prison population and young black males tend to vote Democratic, that allowing freed felons to vote would result in more Democrats voting. This is the same reason why he and all the other nutjobs are so into VoteRID. It's all about preventing Democratic leaning voters from voting, however it can be finagled. Of course he boards the idiot train when he thinks that people vote in Democratic or left leaning judges because they are "soft on crime" which is bullshit. They vote for left leaning judges because it's their only shot for fairness in a system run by the law enforcement agencies you read about right here in the TBox on an almost daily basis. And he hooks up with the caboose by making sure he uses "violent" whenever possible, because something has to be in there to scare the poor white folk into voting for him.

  5. Former Military Chief: Iraq War Was A 'Failure' That Helped Create ISIS "We strategically marched in the wrong direction." Matt Ferner National Reporter, The Huffington Post     Posted: 11/30/2015 03:19 PM EST | Edited: 2 hours ago ASSOCIATED PRESS Lt. General Michael Flynn testifies on Capitol Hill in 2014. The Army general led the Defense Intelligence Agency before retiring. Retired Lt. General Michael Flynn, former U.S. special forces commander in Iraq and Afghanistan who was the country's highest ranking military intelligence official, says that the George W. Bush administration's Iraq war was a tremendous blunder that helped to create the self-proclaimed Islamic State, or ISIS. "It was a huge error," Flynn said about the Iraq war in a detailed interview with German newspaper Der Spiegel published Sunday.  "As brutal as Saddam Hussein was, it was a mistake to just eliminate him," Flynn went on to say. "The same is true for Moammar Gadhafi and for Libya, which is now a failed state. The historic lesson is that it was a strategic failure to go into Iraq. History will not be and should not be kind with that decision." When told by Der Spiegel reporters Matthias Gebauer and Holger Stark that the Islamic State would not "be where it is now without the fall of Baghdad," Flynn, without reservations, said: "Yes, absolutely." Read the entire interview here. Flynn, who served in the U.S. Army for more than 30 years and was former commander of special forces in Afghanistan and Iraq, also said that the American military response following 9/11 was not well thought-out at all and based on significant misunderstandings.  "When 9/11 occurred, all the emotions took over, and our response was, 'Where did those bastards come from? Let's go kill them. Let's go get them,'" he said. Instead of determining why the U.S. was attacked by terrorists, Flynn said, the Bush administration was looking at where the terrorists came from and locations to attack. "Then," Flynn said, "we strategically marched in the wrong direction." Following the 9/11 attacks, the U.S. invaded Iraq in 2003 based on sketchy evidence presented by the Bush administration that linked weapons of mass destruction and terrorist organization Al Qaeda to former Iraqi dictator Saddam Hussein. The fall of Hussein resulted in chaos and led to a power vacuum in the region that terrorist organizations, like the Islamic State, have taken advantage of. Flynn acknowledged just how wrongheaded the U.S. approach was as evidenced by the country's release of current Islamic State leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi in late 2004. The Pentagon has said that Baghdadi was arrested earlier that year near Falluja, but was released in December along with a large group of prisoners it deemed to be "low-level." "We were too dumb. We didn't understand who we had there at that moment," Flynn said.

  8.   The shame, though, is that the legislature has passed so many suspect laws, and persisted in defending them even, at times, in the face of certain defeat. The policies hurt the state, and the legal tab dings taxpayers’ wallets. The legislature put Amendment One targeting gay marriage on the 2012 ballot. It was later struck down repeatedly as North Carolina continued to fight for it. Lawmakers passed an anti-abortion bill with an onerous ultrasound requirement. That too was struck down. They created a “Choose Life” license plate while refusing to offer a plate promoting another view. That was struck down by two federal courts before being sent back by the U.S. Supreme Court for further review. This summer, legislators passed a bill allowing magistrates and clerks of court to opt out of any involvement with a same-sex marriage. That could face a legal challenge. Charlotte-Douglas International Airport has been in legal limbo for years. Three redistricting lawsuits are ongoing. And the fate of the voter ID bill continues to be argued in federal court, even after the legislature tacitly acknowledged its flaws by passing new provisions watering down the photo ID requirements. The $8 million for legal bills, Wake County Republican Rep. Nelson Dollar told the AP, is designed to ensure “that the will of the people’s representatives prevail.” But judges, from the U.S. Supreme Court on down, have repeatedly found the legislature’s will to be unacceptable. That matters not to legislators, who can just take taxpayer money to continue to fight. Read more here:
  9.     Hariri and his wife, Nusyaba Suliman, arrived in Charlotte on Oct. 28 with their five children. They are the first Syrian refugees in Charlotte, having escaped a burned-down house and atrocities all around them in their hometown of Daraa, including the murder of his brother by authorities. The three oldest children have been enrolled in school and are beginning to learn English, and Hariri takes a bus from his east Charlotte townhouse to uptown each day for a class to get oriented to his new life.Amid U.S. politicians rushing to block all Syrian refugees from entering the country, Hariri and his wife are just grateful that they and their children are safe. They went through more than a year of interviews, background checks, fingerprinting, medical exams and retina scans before being cleared to come to America. The family’s rent is covered for six months and they are receiving Medicaid and food stamps. After that, though, Hariri is expected to have a job to provide for his family and also has to start paying $127 per month to pay back the $6,080 in airfare that got his family here from Jordan. 10. Hillary CliNtoN

So you think that Obama is arming ISIS? To what end?
  11. Hillary CliNtoN

I guess Hillary is the real Kenyan Muslim and Obummer was the smoke screen.
  12. Hillary CliNtoN

I wish Ron Paul had never had a son so these "life's so unfair to "libertarians"!!!" threads could go away   Hillary is a career politician and no prize to me either but this is all sour grapes. Of course ISIS is going to have some of our weapons, we spent enough to get them all over there before losing track of a lot of them. Of course the CIA is shipping weapons where ever they can, it's what they do.   Hint: I've learned that whenever someone uses the term "Mister President" or "Ms. ex Secretary" or whatever, that it's just a lame hit piece with a polite opening line. We all know she killed it against the idiots in the Bennnnggaaazzziiii panels multiple times, which is the only reason I will defend her here - just let it go.
