I love that area. How much free time will you have? If possible, check out Point Defiance in Tacoma. You can see both the Cascades and the Olympics from there. Speaking of the Cascades, you can drive up to about 5500 ft. on Mount Rainier and probably hit snow or at least a glacier with about an hour hike (even at this time of year). Also, look for a trip to Tillicum Village, a native American themed island with a salmon buffet and performing arts. The Seattle Center is good if you have kids - lots of carnival-like activities. Definitely check out the shops and restaurants by the piers.
You can if you want. If your injuries happened in Tikrit in 2003, Baquba in 2005, Baghdad in 2007/08 or Mosul in 2010, there's a pretty good chance I was breathing for you at one point.
And I'll judge anyone, especially a Veteran, who says 19 year olds can't be trusted with firearms.
PTSD is an anxiety issue, not an anger issue.
This isn't the first attack on a recruiting station. ISIS communicates pretty consistently that they're targeting service members and veterans at home and anywhere they aren't armed.
