  1. Stephen King on Trump

Well, when you call people n*ggers, and beat them senseless, yeah you're gonna get that rep.
  2. How the Left wins it for the Right

General observation. Pant suit jokes have been common in the tinderbox.
  3. How the Left wins it for the Right

Hillary has some definite concerns as a candidate. There is no denying that. If you want to take a moral stance over the questions surrounding her okay. But if you're going to do so while simultaneously making blatantly sexist remarks about her that sound like something a bitter old man would say, that doesn't really give you much of a leg to stand on if you're also trying to take the moral high ground.
  4. An Inexcusable, Willful Disregard for the Rules

    Both sides.
  5. How the Left wins it for the Right

Who is ya'll specifically? Not sure which Dems you're referring to, but that isn't me bud. Have you seen me making dozens of threads/posts about Hillary practically cheering her with memes? You on the other hand with Donald though... I get it that maybe you just want to see the sideshow, but quite frankly that is just incredibly stupid considering all the people that it will negatively affect. I haven't made my decision yet, and won't until November, but my vote will definitely not be for any Conservative candidate. I'll go independent before that.
  6. How the Left wins it for the Right

For such a bright guy ecu is, it's honestly sad seeing go off the rails for a bigoted buffoon like Trump.
  7. Freddie Gray

Would the general dismissive tone being applied by many to the level of negligence by these officers who placed Gray in their custody be the same if we were talking about a college kid from an affluent school, and a wealthy family somehow ending up with his spine mysteriously severed while in police custody for a minor offense? I have to say I seriously doubt it. It's just atrociously sad all around.
  8. credit card problem

Probably should have waterboarded you just to be sure.
  9. Freddie Gray

Uhh, dude, where did anyone in this thread imply all cops are that way? If discussing the flaws in the way our system mishandles police misconduct, and the affect it directly has on police/public relations is perceived to you as us just saying "omg, all cops are evil, lock them all away!" then perhaps you should rethink things. That is also a god awful comparison btw. Some random drunk or his buddy do not have an entire police force of peers to pat them on the back, or a police union who will steadfastly support them pretty much no matter what. They also don't carry a badge or a gun.
  10. Fear the Walking Dead, Season 2

Briefly things kind of got interesting, but once it again it all kind of fell apart. Nick has a lot of potential as a character, but it's being pretty much wasted. Chris just needs to be killed off, i feel bad for the actor. He is considerably more annoying than any character in the history of TWD.
  11. Brooklyn Bully? Oh how we miss your posts.
  12. NBA Playoffs Discussion

It's interesting to see how quickly the Thunder have turned things around. Have to give credit where it is due.
  13. Freddie Gray

Charging Nero with second degree intentional assault is where this case went down the tubes really. Reckless endangerment was a bit of a stretch as well perhaps, but negligence was without a doubt a factor as a whole for all officers involved. Nero was there, the other officers likely had more overall involvement. But again, it boils down to basic human rights here. At what point does a police officer not become accountable for himself, and his fellow officers lack of proper care for a civilian placed in their custody? Perhaps when @Inimicus is done anxiously pieing posts he can clarify his feelings on this matter. Regardless, I don't expect charges for any of the officers involved to stick. This has been the trend across the country. If a CMPD officer can empty his clip on an unarmed man merely for approaching him, and walk away free (along with receiving a settlement from the city worth nearly 200k total), there isn't much hope anywhere.
  14. I think there is a lot of selective memory regarding this unfortunately. We definitely have some talent on the DL, but that first Saints game where Luke McCown of all people absolutely tore us apart, only to have Norman end up being the one to seal the W for us should be something to consider as a caution before making claims. I think we can definitely get pressure, but we have to be able to do it more consistently. It's easy to put on the homer shades in May. But come September when the games are actually being played, if our secondary starts getting picked apart, all the patience being preached around here right now is going right out the window. That is for sure.
