Sugar coating RBs, CJ lead back

I don't recall CMC getting caught from behind very often, it's just that as a rookie he had virtually zero ability to run through any contact. I mean, if you have legit sub-4.5 speed you're rarely going to get caught from behind. Once you have a couple of steps on someone they're not catching you unless it's a really long field.

Dont let your pecker ruin your life.

I mean hey, if you're going to pay for ass, you might as well pay a high level professional. But you don't take her out on a date in public for all to see. Good grief, Jimmy G.

When is the last time a sub-180 pound CB went in the 1st round?

Ian Thomas - Easy guy to root for

I was very happy when we picked him. He was a guy I singled out at the Combine who really stuck out to me. Twice before Hurney has drafted mid-rounders that I was enamored with. Josh Norman and Joe Adams, so it's been a 50/50 proposition in the past.

    Your most hated NFL team?

I've been to probably a dozen Panthers games and probably three dozen Broncos games. The only games where I've seen widespread issues in the stands and coming/going from the stadium involved the Eagles and the Raiders.

I mean, you can continue to do all the mental gymnastics you want to do, but the bottom line is that both Kamara and Hunt were significantly better RBs as rookies than the guy we picked #8 overall. I hope CMC added some strength this offseason and that’s Norv will do a better job of capitalizing on his strengths.

Kamara had 201 touches last season. CMC had 197. They were both in roles where they were splitting time with a power back.

    Your most hated NFL team?

The Eagles have always been one of the more hated teams in the league because of their infamously horrific fanbase.

Seeing that we signed a mid-level FA RB this offseason and drafted a RB #8 overall last year who got nearly 200 touches as a rookie, yeah I think there would've been a few snaps and touches available for Kamara or Hunt..

NFL GMs absolutely knew who Hunt was. The big red flag on Kamara was some fumblitis. Gettleman drafted 3 CBs in 2016. Tre Boston was the only safety he ever drafted and he was a 4th rounder.

Hence the "hindsight is always 20/20" comment. Please, Kamara and Hunt are straight studs. They're plug and play anywhere.

    Your most hated NFL team?

Yeah, these guys definitely earn an honorable mention spot for me. Primarily because of the annoying holdover fans who still feel like NC is "Redskins country" from back in the days when television contracts decided that it'd be the Redskins who were force fed as the "home team" to fans in NC.

    Your most hated NFL team?

    1. Saints. Trash city, trash fans, pill head coach, bountygate, etc. 2. Patriots. Constant cheating. 3. Eagles. Worst fanbase in sports. 4. Seahawks. Most annoying bandwagon fanbase in sports. 5. Cowboys. Most valuable franchise in sports so every year they get hyped beyond belief just to inevitably and predictably fizzle out. Other than them being division rivals, I really don't harbor any real hatred for the Falcons and Bucs.

I bet we are near or at the bottom of the NFL in terms of investment in our secondary. We've spent all of our money on the front seven in a league that trends more and more toward passing.

Then every other GM in the NFL is too. CJ is the 34th highest paid RB in the NFL fresh out of unrestricted free agency.
