  1. They should be.  Who gives a damn about any of those idiots feelings.  Shame them, Embarrass them, and most importantly DAB all over these haters Cam.  The only meaningful revenge is for you to lift that Lombardi trophy high over your head while you dance all over the podium.
  2. You need to read this

I just posted this on another thread.  it is very telling when football officials think the officiating was poor and had a huge impact on the outcome of the game.  To put it bluntly they think that we got jobbed.  Fire Roger Goodell!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Here is the actual link to the website.  http://www.footballzebras.com/2016/02/08/5-officiating-observations-from-super-bowl-50/  Good reading.

http://www.footballzebras.com/2016/02/08/5-officiating-observations-from-super-bowl-50/   This is an interesting take on the officiating by actual football refs.  They are refs at apparently levels from high school up to college .  One guy/commenter talks about a televised game he worked in as a ref.  The most interesting part is not necessarily the article but the comments section of these refs.  They make some great points.  Most feel the Panthers were at a huge disadvantage and that the game was not called fairly at all.  This is exactly what Panther fans that are not afraid to rock the boat are saying.  Was the fix in?  Who knows.  Either way the officials in our game were a pathetic excuse for NFL officials and an outright embarrassment.  Screw you Roger Goodell.
  4. My wife knows about my 10 minute rule.  I need 10 minutes to mourn and then I move on.  When I was a kid, not so much.
  5. JNo - To Tag or Not to Tag?

Honestly after hearing the Gett press conference today, my opinion is that Norman is as good as gone unless he gives one hell of a discount that he shouldn't give because this is his big contract chance.  Gettleman doesn't believe in shut down corners and thinks that they become shutdown once you have a good D-line.  I just don't think he values secondary like he does the Hog Mollies.  He is not going to throw 12 to 13 million at Norman for 1 year.  I wish Josh the best.  Go make that paycheck my man.  You earned it.
  6. An Interesting Clete Blakeman Stat

Bottom line is that anything is possible.  Here we are 13 years since the last Super Bowl and now we know that the Patriots filmed our practices and cheated us out of a likely Super Bowl win.  Would anyone ever be surprised if a story breaks in the subsequent years about the refs in this game?  There was alot of money placed on the Panthers.  The mob was possibly looking to lose a lot of money if the Panthers won the game.  Here is another interesting link stating the obvious.  Vegas was heavily rooting for the Denver Broncos to win the game.  http://www.sbnation.com/nfl/2016/2/3/10904360/super-bowl-50-odds-panthers-vs-broncos-spread Tin foil hat?  I would not be so quick to assume every thing is a conspiracy.  Sometimes its just about the money.

I totally agree.  However key word is systematically.  Rogue officials are hard to contain.  I find it hard to believe that none of the refs have any favorite teams growing up.  If they did, would they not subconsciously ref a certain way?
  9. Braylon Beam Appearance On The Ellen Show Today

That was awesome.  I like how the NFL family rallied around this kid not just the Panthers, The Broncos were classy and so was our arch rival Drew Brees.  Goes to show, that some things are just bigger than football.  Keep pounding Braylon!!!!
  10. And Mr. Mcelroy, had Cam dove and recovered the football, what was the outcome?  Oh yeah, turnover on downs.  Your point sir?  Just shut up!!!!!!!!!
  11. Ted Ginn Jr. Running Out of Bounds

Non story for me.  The secondary had the angle on him and he wouldn't have gotten much further if any at all.  Our entire offense stunk and so did the special teams, coaches play calling and NFL officiating.  It is what it is as our legendary coach of the previous decade used to say.
  12. Here is a nice article with an in motion gif of the catch.  Explain this one to me Broncs4lyfe.  http://ftw.usatoday.com/2016/02/the-carolina-panthers-super-bowl-50-fell-victim-to-the-nfls-bad-definition-of-a-catch
  13. People are going to see what they are going to see.  That definitely isn't conclusive evidence of the ball hiting the ground.  The ball is also tipped at a forward angle giving the impression that it might be touching the ground.  I see his left hand firmly holding the ball and 2 fingers are missing not including the thumb.  Where do you think those 2 fingers might be?  I say under the ball and thats why they are out of the picture.  Like I said go back to the Broncos board and celebrate your "win".  Why did you come here to speak with us is the big question?    Why?  We don't need your Broncos fans opinions.  We have our own.  No penalties the entire 2nd half.  That is some really sound fundamentally clean football there.  If you believe that they didn't make any penalties in the entire half then I got some snake oil to sell you.  Many of us don't believe that the officiating was fair/equal.  Could we have still won had we not turned the ball over so many times and had less penalties and dropped passes?  Possibly?  But does it matter.  No.  We are venting.  That's all.  You guys will be in the history books as the 2016 Super Bowl champs.  We will be forgotten just like the rest of the NFL's second place teams.  We will be back soon though.  Will you guys?   Edit:  One more thing.   No part of the catch rule or any interpretation says the ball can’t touch the ground. When you actually watch the play, the ball does not shift in his hand at this part of the reception. Under the rules, that’s control. The ball then comes out when he rolls on his back, but it doesn’t touch the ground at that point, and of course he regains clear possession for the rest of the play.
  14. Who Should Go or not resign

Agree with the OP on who he mentioned except I am ok with keeping McClain as a role player/back up.  Time to move on from Tolbert too.
