thankfully Facebook did not exist when I was 26 and there are many dumb ass things I did which never lived on in media. I think there's a lot of hypocrisy in the shock and awe crowd that turns up there noses when photos and images show up on the Google.
I only heard the part of the speech where he mentioned this but the first thing I heard on the audio was "if your not going to do the right thing". He was hen starts talking about a crew and a fall guy. Not sure what carter said prior to this but I suspect it was something like avoiding the MJ and don't put yourself in these types of situations. I think Carter was being real. And if any rookie in the room when this speech happened and has been busted for dope he is a real fugging moron.
I agree with this assessment. I view preseason games as a prolonged scrimmage with commercials. I am not a coach and don't pretend to know what they are thinking but believe preseason is used for evaluating players in different scenarios. Not necessarily did that play work and was it a positive outcome but, did that player do what he was supposed to do based on the call and situation.
That said I don't have enough info to assess the team yet.
I take preseason with a grain of salt and put little emphasis on plays outside of the OL and DL. Practices and camp are much more watered down due to CBA than it use to be. I think the team is in a better position than last year at this time. Losing KB was hard but the timing allows coaches and players to normalize and adjust before the season starts.
Gettleman panics and calls Hurney for advise on Saturday morning. Results in Gman signing Armanti Edwards for a truckload of cash. He comes in for mop up duty in the 4th and throws four TD passes And a 2 point conversion to himself. Panthers win 29 - 24.
It's the spouses and the kids that got blindsided. I think under normal circumstances a spouse would suspect and confirm at her or his discretion. In these cases it just becomes public knowledge and there's no damage control or shielding the kids.
The self righteous fugtards that did this also need to be dealt with. Privacy breach is still a privacy breach no matter what the moral imperative or justification is.
