That's how they keep the lights on. Find an article written by someone else, link it, and then add a few comments off the top of their head. And sadly, this is still better than nfl.com and espn.

Seems like they would get better results spending 5 minutes on the fan forum of the team or player they are writing about. Then diarrhea an article from that.

I don't know how many times over the last couple years, I remember reading threads here and then seeing them as articles on PFT.

Until one of our receivers that's under the age of 30 has a 1000+ yard season again, this will continue to happen in different forms every year

...especially on slow news days when one of PFT's headlines at 9am is the Tiquan Underwood interview...

We were 29th in passing yards last year. I don't care what people say, we can't be worse than that.

Hate when I see this. We could absolutely do worse then that. Do I think we will? No. Never know what may happen though

Honestly we, and most members of most fan sites, have been crapping on various position groups and players from our own teams and on others for years. Not much difference. Dead period just before camps and season brings this stuff out every year.

"You know how this is going to play out … Cam is going to have his best season as a passer, and his critics are going to credit it to his 'strong receiving corp.'

- Titans Fan"

seems like people are finally starting to get it

I liked the comment that said Cam could have his best season as a passer and reporters would credit his "strong receiving group"

And another football fan with their eyes open outside of Carolina...

eaglesnoles05 says:Jul 11, 2014 6:49 AM

"I mean… They have two solid RB’s and a solid TE and a borderline superstar QB…

A (still growing) physical young rookie WR who is a potential beast, a great possession guy in Avant, and then all the other guys are pro football players also… I’m not a Carolina fan, but with good play-calling I think they’ll be more than fine…"

*INGBA waits with glee for articles excusing Cam's performance this season being a result of his recievers making him look good*

Reading the comments is interesting. Most everyone is saying it's not a bad group  of receivers. Darin F'n Gantt and whoever else at PFT can keep harping on it for something to say in the slow season and the Whoa Is Me crowd here can keep whining but to those with no ulterior motives and some common sense it's honestly not a bad group of receivers.
