I love watching football and if given those seats I might go. Depends on if I could watch the Panthers game there.

But by your own logic I should cheer for the Broncos. And I believe my apartment sits at 5,080ft

Where in Denver you at?  I just signed my lease for one of the new apt buildings around Lodo.

I'm not in Denver. I'm up here in Greeley close to the oil.

You know about the Mile High Cats right?

Ah gotcha.  I think I remember you mentioning that now that I think of it in the fracking thread.

I've got fam that lives at Ptarmigan CC, never made it out to Greeley before though.

Mile High Cats is the Panthers legion out there right?  I'm moving on 8/4 so will be there in time for the season.

The whole loyalty debate is a crazy one. I've been up here for three years now but will always cheer for the Panthers. Couldn't care less about the Jets or Giants. But I've dropped the Hornets/Cats like a bad habit for the Nets, and the Braves for the Yankees.

There's a Facebook group and it's at Shelby's Cafe. I'll be there every Sunday. Mood determined by the score

My mother-in-law has been pulling that "this is your home now, cheer for the Cards and Suns" poo on me for a while. I've converted her daughter to a Panthers fan. Hornets are a work in progress.

I just like the idea of transplants giving a little support to the local team. Like chris mcclain on wfnz saying the panthers are his second team cuz he is from ravens territory. He is also telling his children to pull for the panthers and buying them gear to show their pride.

    • Just another reminder the guy you voted for and the party you affiliate with is failing to govern and is going to get impeached in the near future. Your gonna need a lot of creativity to make your life bearable in the coming future. Down with Trump Down with Russia
    • I finally was able to watch it last night.

I thought it was a good episode.

The trouble is that it has only been about the second or third good episode out of the second half 8 of this season.

I like show Negan almost as much as the comic one, and I know that probably puts me in a minority, but I think JDM does a fantastic job.

Also, show Eugene is easily one of my favorite characters at this point. Comic Eugene was/is kind of boring at times.

This episode showed what I've been saying all along though, that Rick and Negan are rooted in the same character. Rick is more supported by the individuals in his group, while Negan is more the totalitarian. Rick is more moral-majority and Negan is more "I make the rules, and you better follow them." But at their base, they are exactly the same. They are just dudes trying to survive a zombie apocalypse the best way they know how, and they are trying to make the world work again.

I can go ahead and spoil most of the finale, I think, if you want to be spoiled. It sounds pretty epic and intense.

    • I also haven't finished it yet and that's mainly because the guy playing Danny sucks. If they had gotten a better actor I think this show would have been so much better. As it stands now I have two episodes left to watch and no desire to do so, and I am one of those people who finishes everything once I start it.
