Puppy mills are terrible for all breeds. And are a disgrace. But not all breeders are puppy mills. Should have more facts before accusing this person of being one. Automatically jumping to this conclusion because they have some kennels is crazy

Now that we've met this understanding buy more petroleum based products because we're running out of places to ship it to. Stupid embargo.

If they aren't doing anything wrong, the ASPCA and the cops will already know.

Bought my dog from a breeder and would do it again.
I'd bet good money Pancake and Herbert are liberals, vegetarians, think they hate religion, are proud not to own a TV, are beer snobs, shop at Trader Joes or farmers markets, drive electric cars, believe in alternative medicine, reinforce their soapboxes nightly, and hate the rich.

There are lovely dogs in shelters and rescues, but why outright criticize people who make different choices than you? Many people have a breed that they love, and they want to continue to see that breed prosper. That's where ethical breeders come in. I'm talking about the ones who screen for genetic diseases and only breed dogs with outstanding structure and temperament.
You clearly bought into the PETA propaganda. Most, not all, but most of the dogs in shelters in my area are mixed breeds - the result of accidents and irresponsibility from regular people, not breeders.
Or they come from pet stores, where the dogs are procured from puppy mills. A completely different problem altogether. Responsible breeders would never let one of their dogs end up in a shelter.

I volunteered at animal shelter for over 3 years and still got my dog from beeder. I love German Shepherds but unfortunately there are not many pure breeds available. My wife and I went by animal shelter quiet few times but most breeds at shelter are Pittbulls and Pittbulls are not allowed by HOA in my community. We also checked North Carolina German Shepherds Rescue and only German Shepherds that were available are near death (9-11 years old). I found a breeder 100 miles away and we decided to get a pup from him. We were first in-line. We came by his house and met my pup mom and dad. Both were in-house dogs and had their own rooms.
Here's my breeder info
Here's my pup mon and dad.
Here's my pup:

I'm waiting for someone to figure out that I said, let's avoid getting pets from breeders. But it's so weird that I post a picture of an obvious puppy mill yet everyone here has bought dogs from responsible breeders. If everyone is buying from responsible breeders then why is this place open? Instead of denouncing what horrible people these are for keeping all these dogs in metal cages, the ones on the left looking like it just had a wire floor 3' off the ground, everyone wants to talk about what a great person they are for responsibly researching where their animals have come from.
Do you want a gold star for pulling off being a halfway decent human being?
