So I have a ceiling fan that's about a month old. Well it knocks, so I listened and it was coming from within the housing. I removed the casing and fan blades, and then ensured the ceiling mount was secured. Cut on the fan and it's the motor, what gives??

Okay more specifically if I crack open the motor is it fixable or do I need to suck it up/buy a new fan.

I've bought cheap 10 buck fans that last years and are on constantly and the expensive ones that crap out after a year.
