City might sign all of their targets on the first day 0_o

Bernardo Silva looks like a great eventual replacement for Silva and great depth considering how much our attack suffered after a few injuries last season. GK Ederson has a cannon for a leg and anything is an upgrade over Bravo. City also linked with Monaco's Mendy who would fill a need at fullback. If we get all of those and sign Walker I think City could do serious damage in all competitions.

Well, I would think so, considering your guys spent more than anyone else over the past five seasons on players. Eventually, you have to hit some pay-dirt, right?

(Seriously though, how in the hell does spending £400 million+ over that time frame fall into FFP rules? I know your revenues are huge, but still.. that's a lot just for the buying of players, especially when half of your income goes to player wages alone).

I can't defend it but I'm hoping we start spending the $$$ with purpose and getting guys that fit Pep's system instead of our old system of just splurging on players who underperform and then get sold at like a 20 million loss a couple years later.

I'm mostly hopeful that if we are gonna overpay for players at least they are upstart young talents like Gabriel Jesus and Sane.

That's up to De Gea. If he wants to go, he'll go. United can't keep him. Madrid is home and Real is a team with a far brighter future.

If he doesn't, fantastic! I want Donnarumma instead.

Mmmnnn, he's under contract with United.  Yea, they can keep him and he will play.  He also was average at best last year so I'm not sure why you would want him.

You actually think that matters? If Mourinho can't convince him to stay, De Gea is gone.

Like I said above, I want Donnarumma.

It does matter... called contract.  Madrid was buying him every year for the past 3 years.

Dude, we've bought players that were under contract before. You act as if we haven't lol

The team must be willing to sale.  ManU is  not other teams...  they got more money than Madrid.  They can do whatever they want.  If team is not willing to sale and player under contract... poo out of luck.  See Suarez at Liverpool.

Yeah, I've heard that song and dance before. Yet we got Ronaldo. All the money in the world didn't matter apparently.

I don't care what Manchester United has. It's not even about money at this point and you know it. Madrid is home to him. In addition, Real has a superior squad and long term future. United just qualified for Champions League. Real has won two titles in three years. It's a no brainer.

Most players will choose to go to Madrid or Barcelona if given the option.

There is more money in EPL.  Even players like Pogba become average in EPL.  See...  you make more money in EPL than CL or La Liga.  Arsenal is losing just 15m pounds by missing CL.  Its nothing to them.  EPL make their money from EPL TV deals and Advertising.  You know why?  Because USA loves EPL.  EPL teams want to make CL because its extra 25M pounds in TV deals...  thats it...  They don't care for winning it.  You know why?  Because Quarter Final to Finalist only make 12m pounds....  That's it!  Teams more focused in making top 4 so they can make CL then care about winning CL.

For crying out load, your team had to beg Manchester City owner for money to fix up the stadium.

Players go to Real and Barcelona because of higher salaries and lower taxes.  That's why Spain is sucking on Germany cash titty and piss broke.  Look who's been in tax fraud scandals over the last few years?  Almost everyone from Spain.  Coincidence?  I think not.  Also, Pogba picked United over Real last year, it was all over TV.  Why?  More money.

United might get rid of De Gea cause he fuging sucked last year but if they want to keep them, they will.

You're worse than the SEC blowhards and Dallas Cowboy fans hanging on the 'America's Team' mantra. The EPL can claim the revenue but La Liga and Bundesliga will claim the hardware. Man U in terms of value didn't outdo Real by much either. 3.5 billion to 3.3 billion.

If the Champion's League wasn't important to the EPL then teams like United wouldn't try to qualify each year... yet they do. Why? Because it's the ultimate tournament and trophy in Europe. You're an Arsenal fan. Of course you're just saying otherwise because your front office can't assemble a team strong enough to beat the third best squad in our league.

Please continue to brag about that. Odds are you're alone because in virtually every forum, fans want a Champion's League title. EPL teams, however, can't even beat a team like Seville or Valencia. What a joke. You can drop the act.

I can tell you right now the EPL better step up because Serie A is improving and they've already sent two squads to the tournament.

Don't make it seem like United will part ways with De Gea because it was their choice. That's laughable and petty. David will leave because he wishes to go home and be on a squad that has a winning culture. If United truly think he's average, they'd let him go without a fight. To claim anything else is just asinine.

Seems like you completely lack understanding of money, contracts, cash flow and many other aspects of soccer business.

Real Madrid been trying to get De Gea for 3 years...  For 3 years they failed.  For 3 years De Gea tried to leave United and ended up signing a new deal with them.  Yet, you telling me... If De Gea wants to leave, he would...  Are you that clueless about front office business?  The only way De Gea will leave, if United wants him to leave otherwise, he will be playing for United like he did for the other 3 years. Jeez dude, its not a fuging rocket science.

La Liga and Bundesliga are extremely top heavy. Real, Barca, Bayern are the best teams in the world so they have the hardware but PL has far more parity and thus is much more interesting to watch.

Think Juve will beat Real in the Final. That defense is outstanding.

Don't bullpoo. If it weren't for a last second dirty tactic, De Gea would be here. It's United so I'm not surprised - still fuming over Ronaldo picking us. Either way, I suggest you start practicing your 'shocked' excuse if he does come back home this summer. It's not quantum mechanics. If it was such a sure thing, then United wouldn't be looking for GKs at the moment.

United have a goalie at the moment who played way better than De Gea...  again.  De Gea sucked ass last year.  Also, go google contracts and educate yourself.

Atletico Madrid transfer ban has been upheld. They're going to get screwed so hard by Griezmann. I kinda feel bad for them, as weird as that is.

He was supposed go to United but it looks like he's staying for another year.  Griezmann twitted his loyalty today for Athletico after ban was upheld.

Reports are Madrid wants Hazard.  Chelsea wants 100M pounds.

Hazard is good but struggles against 3-4-3 formations big time.  He was an absolute none factor against Arsenal and his first touch of the game was not until 20th minute.

Arsenal announced that they have garage sale.  They need to get rid of around 15 players.  Players on sale are Giroud, Wilshere, Walcott, Cazorla, Chamberlain, Ospina, Chambers, Martersacker, Kocelny, Cocquiline, Monreal, Ramsey, Jenkinson and if not resign Alexis and Ozil.  Gonna be fun summer.
