Yeah that was good too. I agree with Zod about The Exorcist though...great horror flick. I mentioned it in the other thread, but The Exorcist still creeps me out.

The Omen...the original was much more scary...but yeah,Exorcist was awesome as well

Based on the same story (a German girl that was said to be possessed and had an exorcism)

Way too many movies today think that gore scenes and torture equal horror. Doesn't work for me. To me, suspense equals horror, and you can't build suspense just by showing something unpleasant.

I think Ex was also one of the most profitable of all time as well.

Ranked third behind "Jaws" and "Alien" on the "Scariest 100" list (discussed here).

Objectively, I agree it's one of the scariest of all time, but I can honestly say it never scared me all that much.

I agree its not the scariest horror movie, but its the best horror movie. Lots of different elements weaving in and out of it.
