Where can one get glasses

I had no luck looking for them last minute Friday. Coworker had a couple extra.

Around here a lot of state parks, etc were giving them out.

Ours were special ordered. Home improvement and hardware stores may be a good bet. Walmart too. If you can't find anything, welder's goggles/helmet will work too

I'm ready. I didnt bring a camera, but I should have. I think with some ND filters and a quick shutter speed, it would have been fine.

I have my eclipse glasses ready! Hopefully everyone who has them has the real deal. A lot of scammers are out there taking advantage of this big event.

If you have the right kind of eyewear, you shouldn't be able to see anything but the sun itself.IMG_1052.thumb.JPG.29f088522d4fe976dbbc9e5b2215ba10.JPGIMG_1054.thumb.JPG.ab514e3bcdae77d69ab8fe4ebc01bcec.JPG

I think I had those, then got an email from Amazon saying "don't use them."  I was able to grab some from a NASA approved vendor.

Didn't I read somewhere that you have to stare at it to get injured? Like 20 seconds? Also what happened to that pinhole thing I learned in grade school. Doesn't that work?

I'm right here in the mountains in the middle of the craziness.  I40 is already becoming a parking lot.  I will be watching from my backyard.

With all the activity and excitement about today's eclipse, let's not forget that the Falcons blew a 28-3 lead.
