it will say a post was made like 6 hours before it really was, how can i fix that?? thanks in advance

In the user CP there is probably a time offset setting you need to change to EST, or New York or whatever.

User CPU leads to edit options scroll down and scroll down to date and time options, set the clock to this time zone...

(GMT -5:00) Eastern Time (US Canada), Bogota, Lima


or whatever time zone you are in.
