Did you see what Hackett is capable of doing. The guy is more explosive than Jarrett and he hasn't dropped a pass in 3 years.

I think he should be ahead of Jarrett in the Depth Chart.

Debatable.

I'll take Jarrett because of his size.

We knew that when we got him. He could be one the top tier players in the league if he had his health.

Is this a joke of some kind?

Jarrett has been making clutch catches on third down all season. He is our ace in the hole. The sure handed WR that only takes the field when we need a big catch and Jake looks for him every time he's out there.

Big body, projectable frame, and is learning from Steve Smith to take abuse to make the play.

He's going to be a player. Hackett can't get off the IR.

Dont give up the hope on Jarret, he doesnt drop many either and they both have there advantages. Jarret is tall so hes good for those kind of routes that require a bit of height and Jake could toss it up to him. Hackett is quicker and can produce when called upon

Maybe, maybe not.

I would say that when Hackett is healthy, it's a legitimate discussion.

Who cares. Neither one catches more than 1-2 passes a game, so it really doesn't make a difference which one plays.

Hackett makes one catch and run and he's automatically better than Jarrett?

jarrett is a good young player but by no means is he our ace in the hole.

the main thinf the panthers need to work on is the 46 active playes. we need both jarrett and hackett active. one of the negatives of having lloyd.

Whatever I still think Jarrett has more upside, especially on 3rd downs/red zone/clutch.

The number of threads started about Jarrett and Hackett since the start of the season > the number of passes both have caught combined? :)

I figure that Hackett was in there because based on practice, he gave the team the best receiving threat. Doesn't mean anything more than that. In 2 weeks things may be the same or different. Fox isn't likely to have favorites at this time of year. It is about producing or sitting, for players and teams. Jarrett is going to be here for a while. At least until his rookie contract is over. He is worth what we are paying him.

I think that Jarrett has been more valuable to the Panthers than Hackett this year. He has had some big third down catches this year.
