if we dont draft a dt this year, heads need to role. irvin wouldnt be drafted in this years class, nor hayden.
I wouldn't be surprised if we didn't take one until round 4 or so.

If we pick up a DT at all in this draft 'should' produce a decent player. Remember though, last year was considered very deep in DTs. I imagine we will draft pressing needs in the 'thinner' positions and then look for better value from the 'deeper' positions later in the draft.

The value in this draft for DTs is 3rd and below. Other than McCoy and Suh the level drops off significantly, Williams will go int he first. However after that there is not a huge difference in performance level and you will likely either see a rn on DTs or people waiting for the better value in the lower rounds.
