I'm tired of blaming them.

Lets blame GWB and Obama.

I'd say lets use anti-matter, but it would be impossible to make enough and as soon as it touches regular matter it would take out a city in the explosion.

Which would help us none being that it would be too far away to use and would bankrupt the world to make enough to equal the size of your fingernail.

We'll use Tesla's energy transmission and the annihilation will be what produces the energy we turn into electricity.

Damn. In just one week everyone's opinions on Nuclear Power have completely flip flopped.

I'm all for it. Just shows how pragmatism sets in once you got the job.

Go go Big O!

Obama has mentioned his desire for more nuclear since he was running for President at least, so I am not sure what you are referring to PSC.

Pray tell, what is pragmatic then?

I'm mildly surprised you would even be aware of that word.

I'm just saying the party cheerleaders have reversed stances on Nuclear Power in short order.

I'm a very strong supporter of nuclear power. Much better than the sustainable methods. Solar technology and wind tech is better used for private applications, it's too expensive and inneficient to build massive wind farms etc. Sustainable energy isn't capable enough to handle our demands.

We're not doing enough to use the energy we do have efficiently. We need to work on that more rather than trying to develop technology that isn't ready yet.

Sustainible energy needs more time to develop. Nuclear power is the way to go. I loved McCain for this reason, I wish he ran as a conservative democrat the last decade, he would have kicked bush's ass IMO.

I'm not sure how much of a plank nuclear power is for the DNC. I know that environmentalists that oppose nuclear power primarily vote Dem but that's not really an official position of the party.

Yeah, I'm not even going to point out how much differently things would be if the opposition wanted to build a couple of new nuclear power plants.
