Seems to justify fears of them going cheap this year. I can easily see a playoff team (or close) sign him for a late 2nd rounder.

Munnerlynn at 2nd and Martin at nickle dose not sound like a very bad thing. I would love to have Robinson though I know JR is gonna be a cheap bastard this year. I feel like we are SF or TB right now.

Barring "poison pills". Those things may make a major comeback with so many RFA's on the market.

I mean honestly I'd much rather have Marshall than not have him but he's not exactly amazing and the Panthers have never had a problem shaking a bush and finding a DB.

Plus it's their deepest position, and Charles Godfrey's natural position.

I can't be the only one who doesn't think Marshall is anything special to waste money on?

He blew last year (maybe not on the stat sheet), but he made a lot of mistakes.

I think I might take a 2nd for Marshall. It would give us some options on draft day for sure.

plus remember that game (I think it was the Dallas game) where he kept getting beat, and then proceeded to talk trash after he had a penalty and gave up big plays?

Marshall is still better than Cap'n. Hope we hold on to him.

Marshall isn't elite because of his height but he is worth spending a few bucks on. He's better suited as a nickleback.

Munnerlynn is worse than marshall. He's short and slow he wouldn't be an upgrade at all.

You want your big bodies like martin and gamble on the outside. Let the short fellows play the slot.

I don't get why people have a hard-on for Munnerlyn. He is Ricky Manning JR with worse coverage abilities.

You are not but I do not think he blows. He is a very good corner but not an elite one. He is a perfect Nickel or a solid #2 but he is by no means worth what Gamble got (which is what he was rumored to be looking for). To be honest I don't think Gamble was worth it.

If he does get sign elsewhere I could see Haden becoming a possiblilty. He had a horrible 40 time for a position that scouts/gms have always overvalues that stat. He could end up falling to the mid to late 1st and then we can package our 2 2nds to trade up and get. Very unlikely but fun to think about.
