If we were to draft a return specialist, who would you want? For me, I'd take LeRoy Vann. 17.7 average on punts and 24.4 average on kick returns. He's small too, 5'9 185lbs, so he'll be more elusive and hard to tackle.

first time I saw this guy was on the top 10 plays on sportscenter. he had like 2 kickoff returns for TD's and 1 punt return for a TD in one game. idk whether he can play WR and CB. his main position is CB, but on some draft sites he is listed as a WR

I wouldnt care if he could play another position. If we draft this guy we are set at both KR and PR. I think he could end up being another Michael Bates or better. All Panther fans know we havent had a good returner ever since he left...besides Mark Jones.

one reason we've never had a good returner is because we've never pursued one.

We either looked for scraps from the bottom of the barrel or drafted one low.

I don't expect us to grab a WR or CB based on his return skills unless it's low. Early on we won't care about guys like Jacoby Ford or Mardy Gilyard unless we like them as receivers.

QB, RS, and S, we always seem to try to find the diamonds in the rough at these position.

I really hope we draft this guy especially if we trade down and trade next years first again. That'll be 10 picks? Yeah we better persue a returner with that many picks.

I do to I hate how they seem to just be so stubborn about certain positions. I forgot we do the same with TE too.

You could argue that they've just never had a guy they've like at QB, RS, S, or TE but it sure seems like they have certain principles about the resources they devote to certain position.
