Darin Gantt of the Charlotte Observer points out that, while Fox is under contract through the end of the 2010 season, Hurney's deal expires in June. It's a common feature in front-office deals, since for them the season actually ends after the draft.
Marty Hurney could be out of a job by June

Is there really anyone out there that can replace him? I say give him one more year.
Is there anyone that couldn't?

I seriously doubt anything happens. Changing GMs in mid-offseason (even with the draft done) is tough.

Only 3 people still remain
J R
Marty
Fox
that list has gotten awful short and I only see one person that can't be fired ,unless he sells out .
All I'm saying, all the changes to this point have not produced the bottom line.

Delhomme contract extension/bonus = Hurney deserves to be gone.
You apparently have no understanding of that situation.
The Delhomme extensions was done ONLY to work Pepper's franchise tag under the cap.
I don't blame the staff for the Peppers fiasco. They tried to sign him long-term several times (as the highest paid DE). Peppers balked.
You can say they should have traded him, but I don't think we would have EVER gotten a 1st rd pick in the past 2 seasons.

I mean, haven't you guys read article after article of NFL insiders mocking Hurney for the Delhomme extension and then getting nothing for Peppers? Marty Hurney is one of the worst GMs in the league.
