Jesus himself admits he doesn't know when. But to be on guard. I don't know if I would categorize him as apoc.

He admits he doesn't know the exact time, "No one knows about that day or hour" (which kind of messes up the idea of him being god because god is all knowing) but he does claim that the "generation will certainly not pass" without it happening.

Some believe that Jesus was speaking to the generation around at the end times. Basically, when you start to see these things happen, know that your generation is the last one.

I know, if the scripture gives any problems to their beliefs they call it a metaphor, or not for our time/audience or in this case not for the disciples but for futuristic people.

Yet he was so clearly speaking to his disciples in the passages.

And he also drank wine, and turned water into wine for a wedding party, yet most religious types around here will preach against the evils of drinking.

The bible is full of flaws, which is why I am not a believer. But I certainly don't chastize those who are, or make a big deal about my beliefs.

per the Bible they did, which was his point, I think.

Not sure if Jesus existed or not. I am sure he didn't do magical thinks like turning water into wine.

A rare quality.

So rare is why I try to avoid this altogether.

I think people should talk about what they believe and why. I think it's very important because we base everything in life on our beliefs. (it would/does keep the Pat Robertson's of the world in check)

That being said, I don't talk about my beliefs irl to people much at all. I do however get chastised for not being in church and have sadly lost several friends for that very reason.
