Raja Bell won't be meeting face-to-face with longtime nemesis Kobe Bryant after all.

He's signing with the Utah Jazz instead.

Sources with knowledge of the deal told ESPN.com that Bell and the Jazz have agreed to terms on a three-year deal worth nearly $10 million, forcing Bell to cancel his sit-down in Los Angeles with Bryant that had been scheduled for Wednesday.

I really like Bell, but there is absolutely no way that I would give a 34 year old coming off of a major injury a 3 year contract.

He may also be a starter in Utah, whereas he would have been a sub in LA.

Next year's championship probably belongs to Miami though. I can certainly understand not discounting over a mil a year to chase a championship that may or may not happen in LA next year.

Utah is gonna be pretty good, they have tons of good players.

Al Jefferson averaged double figures in points.
Andrei Kirilenko averaged double figures in points.
Paul Millsap averaged double figures in points.
Raja Bell averaged double figures in points.
Mehmet Okur averaged double figures in points.
Deron Williams averaged double figures in points and assists.

They're thinking we're fugged we just lost Carlos Boozer and overpayed for Bell.
