I saw it today, and I must say, I was very pleasantly surprised....
I liked the Thomas Jane Punisher a lot, and I was disappointed to learn that he wasn't staying on for this one... BUT..
Ray Stevenson captured Frank Castle's essence more, and overall did a hell of a job..
The movie definitely earned it's R rating with gore/language, but hey, that's not anything this motherfuger is turned off by...
I would say that the dialogues, acting by other parties could have been a little better, but if you are into comic book movies that stick to the source and incorporate good action, this one is for you...
At times, it was B-movie-esque because of lack of creativity, but overall, I'd say it was well worth seeing in the theater...

I enjoyed it. I didn't expect much though. I did enjoy how they used the russians.

Ray Stevenson was a badass in Rome.
I can only hope a fraction of that badassness transfers to this film.
