It is unreal if he really comes back this year. Who remembers when an ACL would take 2+ years to heal!?!?!

He will do himself a huge disservice if he comes back this year...

Why come back this year when it's clear we're not going to the playoffs.

Just rehab and get 100% healthy for next year (if there is a next year).

Isn't this a contract year for him? He probably feels like he has to play if he wants to make a decent salary.

Prolly feels like he won't make any salary! If he cannot return in 2010, likely will have little or no work 2011, then what can you say about a guy who's been out for nearly half a career for some players?

Needs to heal I'm sure the Panthers would offer him a pretty big contract anyway. If he blows it out again, his chances of getting any deal decrease significantly

If our training staff clears him to play, they should all be fired on spot

eh no reason to rush it. could probably sign a reasonable long term deal, with incentives put in to increase the money if he maintains the level of play he was at before the injury.

Didn't Wes Welker have an ACL? That is what's behind him thinking he can get out there.

He'll be fine with a brace. For the sake if his career and contract he has to play this season. Thus is a young mans man, they're all on borrowed time as it is.
