The sad thing is that biggest problem conservatives have with the concept of sharia is that it's Islamic.

very very few policy differences between them and a guy like Santorum.

if you didn't look at everything through reactionary conspiracy goggles you would see that in fact wasn't.

i said through education, affluence, and scientific progress. by education i did not mean put everyone in a concentration camp and brainwash them. i meant through the edification of the human race we will answer the questions that have made religion a crutch for ignorance in the past.

Just what makes you think educated people won't choose what to believe on their own despite what others try to make them think through "education" and "science".

Is this tolerance?

How can you even make a comment when you think Bush was a conservative?

1) i've never claimed to be tolerant of a damn thing.

2) i don't literally mean education as in sent to school. i mean the intellectual edification of the human race. the exact opposite of the goal of the government and media. the stupider a populace, the easier they are to control, which is the point of religion.

1. Then how can you expect people to be tolerant of you or your decisions?

2. Religion-broadbrush. Only if you knew every single religion there is to know; fully.

did i say i expect such a thing? you can do whatever the hell you want.

what a retarded thing to say. you're not allowed to have an opinion unless you know every single thing about it? FULLY? how do you get through your day and form opinions on stuff?

religion is the opiate of the masses. it's a disease on the human race that has impeded progress for thousands of years. every. single. one. the world would be better without them.
