There isn't a player on our team that we could get a first-round pick for. And only Beason could get a 2nd.

Gamble, Beason, Kalil, Gross, Williams could get a late 1st.

All of these guys could have gone for that high a pick last season (except for Gamble lolololololol at including him, thinking he could have ever gone for a first-round pick is is one of the least knowledgeable things I've ever read on the Huddle...no offense), but the trade value for these guys has PLUMMETED this season. Beason would be the closest, but even he has fallen out of that 1st round range. Kalil and Gross have been terrible this season, not even close to 1st round worthy. And when was the last time a running back got a 1st-rounder in return? Especially one that has sucked and has come down with injuries over the past two seasons?

Roy Williams garnered a first and a third in 2008. It only takes one dumbass, and the NFL has plenty of them ...

Gamble would get a 1st round pick. To say Beason wouldn't get a 1st round pick is probably the dumbest thing I've read here recently.

And notice how much poo Jerry Jones has taken over that trade, one of the most derided in league history?

Linebackers are like running backs in that it's relatively easy to pick up another one elsewhere without having to give up a freaking first round pick over.

And seriously, GAMBLE getting a 1st-round pick? He can't tackle, has a huge contract that isn't justified at all by his play on the field, has been in the league since 2004 and hasn't made a single Pro Bowl....seriously, there's homerism and then there's stupidity. Saying you could get a 1st-rounder for a guy like DeAngelo is homerism. Saying you could get one for Gamble is stupidity.

Gamble is the best DB in the south. He's young and he usually handles the other teams #1 WR. He's got the tools to be great and DB's can last a long time in the NFL. He could definitely get a late first. DB is a fairy position now anyways you could say the same negative things about other teams DB's as well. I'm not saying he's elite but he can be a cornerstone CB for you. Pro bowl means nothing.

And for christ sake Beason is a top 2 MLB when he gets to play his position. He's part of the reason Anderson is excelling right now. He's the best LB in the NFC South and perhaps the NFC. Stop trolling.

A team in need of a RB could pull the trigger on Deangelo. Especially if they were 1 piece away. Green Bay for example.

see 2 first rounders and Kyle Orton for Jay Cutler (Bears). and Broncos trading Peyton Hillis, a 6th, and a conditional 2012 for Brady Quinn of the Browns

And then drafted Clausen. (According to a Fantasy Football magazine I have the Panthers had Clausen as of of the top ten players in the draft.)

After we drafted Clausen we made all the same trades and picks that we did before.

How mad would you be at this point?

Yea in that fantasy we could trade Gamble for Asomugha and Matt Moore for Sam Bradford, sounds nice...
