Peppers90 NC

who thinks we will win tomorrow?

I think we have a legit chance of winning if we limit our own mistakes, Hawks give up 5.0 yards per carry on running plays so if Stewart and Goodson can pick up where they left off in Cleveland we have a decent shot.

Unless we made a massive trade for a new quarterback and we hired a new OC last night, I doubt it. The problem won't be the defense but the lack offense like usual.

Even if we win against SEA and ARI we could still lose because it may keep us from obtaining the # 1 2011 overall pick in the NFL draft.

Like the Cleveland game, it is certainly possible...and wouldn't surprise me that much. If the game plan we had against the Browns sticks and the players get more comfortable (Clausen, Gettis, Stewart...maybe Smitty) we could take Seattle. They don't have a Payton Hillis type player. The only thing is that Seattle usually wins at home.

It could come down to Kasey again. UGGGGHH!

Honestly, I think we would still be okay to get Luck with a top 3 pick. Chances are it will be between us and Buffalo and Detroit. Both of those teams have the QB position pretty much covered and won't be interested in taking the risk.

We could afford to win another game and still be in a good position to draft Luck.

At this point though, more than 3 wins would be a setback...

"We could afford to win another game and still be in a good position to draft Luck."

Unless a team trades up ahead of us just to select him.Just sayng...

I think some of you are undersestimating how bad we really are... we lost by one to a Delhomme led browns team who abandoned the run in the 3rd quarter..

We won't get Luck anyway because of the impending lockout

Sure we can win. I predict we will win today and vs. Arizona. If Atlanta doesn't have anything to play for at the end, we could win 3. That is very FOXY, winning games that don't matter.

Watch Buffalo, Detroit, and Cincinnati. They are all the 2-win teams. If all win one more, we can still win 2 games and get the first pick. However, they each have about 1 winnable game left of their schedule.

Winning now? Builds momentum? Not really. We will be under a new coach, could be coming off a lockout. Last season will mean less than it already does. Frankly, I am hoping the young players continue to develop but we lose. That sends the best message to JR, provides hope, and puts us in an awesome position come April.

As for the lockout, it will be short lived if it happens at all. The owners need to propose a plan that limits rookie money and provides bigger slices for those not making Peppers money. The Bradfords and the Haynesworths won't like it, but the majority will. By creating a divide in the players' union, they can win this.

The biggest problem is their representative. He seems bent on proving something and enhancing his resume. If they see through that, the players have to agree.

Seattle is a tough place to play; that said, they can be run on.

If Clausen has more than 30 PAs then we lose.

If Stewie/Goody have more than 175 yds combined on the ground we win.

Not sure what kind of a limb that it is, but I'm out there on it.
