I pray for peace, an end to world hunger, medical advances/cures, etc.

Pep, football, etc.....NO.

I'd only want him to stay if he changes mind. I don't care if we get a 1st, 2nd, and 3rd round pick, we're more than likely not going to get any players that can make the kind of impact that Pep can.

Well now that he's pissed in the water....I just think it's time for him to go...it seems he wants other things and TEAM doesn't seem to be in the vocabulary right now.

I love Pep as much as anyone else and this is something that hurts since he's a homestate boy and all....but don't let the door hit him on the arse on the way out, we don't need someone who doesn't want to be here....he will only be a source of frustration to us all in the end.

in this scenario, i beleive what peppers is saying, but you never know. these guys agents get their players to say all kinds of things when its contract time. its all about the money.

I love pep and all but after all this he needs to go. This team was rattled around pretty good last off season and the positive results lasted almost all season. We will most likely still have to deal with Joke under center next year anyway so we have nothing to lose by making some big moves. Pep is one of the biggest moves that could happen in the entire league in my opinion. Outside of a few keepers, I don't think anyone on this team is off limits to ship, let fly, or forget ever existed entirely.

Cross your fingers and hope for the best.

Would I want Peppers to remain a Panther? Only if he wants to be a Panther.

Maybe there will be some bonding in Hawaii.

What there will be a lot of in Hawaii is "unofficial" recruiting of both Peppers and Jordan Gross.

Our guys - other than Julius - will likely be doing that too with other team's free agents.

I don't understand why people want the team to give a 10 mil + a year contract to a player who is not a leader, doesn't attempt to go all out on every play, and doesn't even want to be here.

Pep is definitly a freakish athlete but I don't think that we are going to be so much worse without him.

It's called numbers, and Pep puts them up.

14 1/2 may not be what the teams are looking at, it's the other numbers.

How many Pro Bowls, how many more season tickets, how many more jerseys sold, how many more sell outs, how high can we raise the ticket prices this year since we are bringing in one of the NFL's "stars".

It's not just the sacks........
