My understanding is that Baker's goal is to be a college HC

You understand correctly.

Shame for us. No one was more entertaining on the practice field. Minicamps won't be the same without him

Really reminded me of my days spent on Parris Island at Boot Camp. Uncanny resemblance to a DI in the way he talked/barked, carried himself. Cursing was the only missing component.

I'll miss him and Magz for their practice moments.

Baker reminded me a lot of Louis Gossett in "An Officer and a Gentleman".

And as far as Panthers coaches, no one was more quotable

Gossett had nothing on R. Lee Ermy in Full Metal Jacket.

I was thinking more of the physical resemblance. But yeah, Baker had some quotes that probably would have made Ermey proud

So if we were waiting on getting a coach from the Green Bay staff or Pittsburgh staff...two more weeks!

I'd say it's exceptionally unlikely we hire anyone else that's currently employed by another team.

I put together some thoughts on scheme and what to expect from the new assistants-in-charge. Enjoy.

They can interview this week since they're off.

And of course, Jets and Bears coaches are available now.

We don't run a zone blocking scheme. We tried it one year, failed and scrapped it. We have/had some plays, but we man blocked.

We have continued to run it often, actually. Was never all one or the other.
All that info, digging, research, and all I get is a correction.
