I think about the mid 90's in Charlotte on Nations Ford Road (I think that was the name of the road). There was a Shoney's and a Fish restaurant there at the time (don't know if it is still there). A man shoved a lady down and I confronted him about his actions and he took a swing at me. He must have been under the influence because all I did was start to hit him and he covered up and said he was leaving. The lady said he had been mouthing off at her ever since she got out of her car. I told her to call the Police. Don't know what happened after that. I went about my business. I don't remember if I asked her if she knew him. That was a long time ago. I'm a lover, not a fighter.

Been in quite a few...none in the past 6 or 7 years though. Won some, lost some...but nothing good ever came from any of them

Last night hung out with a few friends at a friends house. The 2nd slot of march madness games were about to end so it was a little after midnight. Night gets a little hazy for me at this point...Went through a good bit of Captain Morgans Lime Bite and a few brews. Perhaps frustrated with my busted bracket and no immediate plans for the night, I start picking on one of my ehh friENDS...

I'll be the first to admit I was the instigator and was eggin it on to escalate. But we all have had a friend that needed to get put in place one way or an other. So, I begin with an array of pillows being thrown and slammed into his face. As he is already asking me to quit, I start tauting him and bitch slapping him with the pillows. I get what I want and somebody brings up that we should wrestle...

I clear a space in the living room and pad up the coffee table so it wont be broken or hurt anyone. The match lasts for about 5 mins with him only getting the first shoot in but didn't take me down. We are both same height same weight roughly but I took the match handedly. I was able to gain side control easily, worked on a rear naked choke which was textbook and also guillotined him at the end.

After a flawless victory things get personal for him. Imagine a person with a fragile mental state when it comes to sports. He has to be winning or no one else has fun. So a mad psycho state sets in and this guy picks up a glass beer bottle and if it wasn't for my other friend mediating the whole thing could have ended badly. But it doesn't end there...

The loser friend still fuming over the defeat is on the couch as my other friend says we should shake hands and call it a night. Loser friend gets off the couch, acts like he is about to shake my hand, then WWE style sucker pushes me into the coffee table. Coffee table has 2, 1'6" x 1'6" glass sections which one completely shatters as I go over it.

Needless to say after that I'm wasted, shocked, pissed off. Luckily my body suffers no damages from the glass. Trying to keep a level head about the level of bitchness this guy has displayed, I start bitching him completely out and getting real personal.

Wrapping up the story...

For the better part of the next hour I'm being held back, my frustration was limited to only connecting a solid throw of a Wii remote to his face. He knew he was in for a hell of a night and left the premises.

Although not a fist fight, it did escalate rather quickly and if not for others there, a fist fight would have been evident. But I have learned a lesson from this scene...Usually when things like this happen, its time for me to do other things and be in better places.

I used to work at The Abyss, a club that is no longer here in VaBeach. I feel funny saying I was a bouncer cause my 6'2" 240lb ass was one of the smaller guys. Basically I got to run my mouth a lot, and break up more than a few fights. It was always a sense of security because I knew there were 20 other black shirts that had my back. Ive been kicked in the back of the head, sprayed in the face by a hairspray-sized can of mace (I dont know where he was keeping it) and been involved in a 40+ person fight (16+ Orientals, 16+ U.S. Military and us black shirts). I have bounced peoples heads off of parked cars and the front door on the way out, gave somebody a legit DDT and kicked some dude in the head like I was tryin for a 50yd field-goal.. But that was quite a while ago, Im a family man now...

Been there many times! Got into a "nice" fight in Pavillion parking lot one night leaving the Abyss

I'm sorry that his friends held back the glass bottle. Sounds like you got what you deserved.

It was high school for me, but I almost saw two grown men go at it the other day, simply because one joked around with the other and the other (who has zero sense of humor) scoffed at his joke. I walked away, came back, and they were yelling at each other sprinkling F bombs here and there. I really wanted to see the one with zero sense of humor take a shot or two, so I was thinking "break it up, but not until Jim gets one good shot in". LOL. They finally cooled down, damn it.

When was the last actual fist fight you were in?

Aside from my older brothers and boxing, I can't say I have ever really punched anyone.

I used to be a bounces at a Camp LeJeune strip club in Jacksonville called the Driftwood.

Nothing recent, but did a LOT of fighting then.
