I did a ton of research on this very thing recently so here's what I found. I would suggest checking at the Radio Shack website and the one for Peerless brand (which Radio Shack sells) at peerlessmounts.com and AVF brand (avfgroup.com).

Peerless is what I have my 60" hanging on...forget the name of the brand my 42" is hanging from though I do remember it was Made in the USA and pretty friggin' stout..

Get a circle drill bit. Drill at the top where you want the wires to go in and one at the bottom for them to come out. They have covers that make the holes look nice. Make sure you hit a stud for your bracket otherwise the dry wall will come down.

And DON'T run the power cable that came with the TV through the wall. It's most likely against code and if it ever catches on fire your ass will be in a world of trouble...and forget any insurance coverage once they find out you did that. If you're running any power cable in the wall, use romex of the proper gauge.

It IS against code to run the power cable through the wall. An electrician will move the power outlet for you for probably a little over 100 dollars. It's not terribly difficult to do yourself either as long as you turn off the electricity before you do it.

Shouldn't be an issue in my case

Just wanted to say thanks for all of your help and I am really enjoying my TV though not wall mounted yet!
