so if newton is the pick, how soon do we draft his replacement?

After y'all see his sorry performance on the field.
His high percentage of interceptions thrown,his turnovers
and our record of 2-14. We will be drafting his replacement
in 2012 with the 1st pick Carolina takes Qb Andrew Luck.

People get so mad when others say that we will have the opportunity to draft Luck next year. This is reality because Cam will not play this year so the #1 pick in 2012 is a real possibility.

i think Newton will play this year, BUT the schedule is so tough so i cant see many wins.

Even if we do pick Newton if we have #1 overall in 2012 Luck is the pick hes to good to pass on.

i usually say draft best player on the board, BUT imagine how Luck would feel coming here. he would know that if he didnt win in a year, he could be replaced fast. it's a dangerous slope, but i could see the Panthers picking Luck a year after picking Newton and trading one of them, but it's likely the value will not be there.
