Not a bad idea, I don't suppose, but POORLY executed.
What's worse, you know these guys wrote this, probably with hopes of licensing it for use either by the organization or the NFL for use at the stadium, promo materials and stuff like that.
And when they listened to the finished product, you KNOW they had visions of highlight reels set to it and the song blaring over the PA when the guys ran onto the field.
I'm all for people being creative, but I think these guys saw dollar signs more than anything and failed utterly.

... It sounds like it could be off of that god awful "black and blue" CD.
Okay so I just listened to a chunk of each song off the god-awful "black and blue" CD.
And OMFG! I dunno if I've ever heard anything like it!
It's almost like their marketing folks sat down around the conference table and the boss said:
Alright, folks. I want us to put together a collection of music that's going to define the Fox Era! I want generic. I want mediocre, and I don't want to pay anything for the rights! Now get out there and find me some music about the Panthers that will put a meth addict to sleep! GO!
See, not only am I an arm chair general manager, NFL head coach, and quarterback, but music critic as well!
ALL HAIL THE INTERWEBS!

Pretty much my opinion on it. I think it's pretty embarrassing honestly. There's some alright songs on there but most of it just makes me cringe. Especially that punk song.
