9 drafted players, yet never more than 8 wins.
I'd say 8 wins was pretty good considering what we went through last year.
Had that happend to NC State they might have won 2 or 3.

We lost just as many, if not more key players each of TOB's first 3 years and won 5, 6 and 5 games, include beating UNC in each of those seasons.

You lost players but not the kind of NFL talented players Carolina lost.
We had a national championship caliber team before the NCAA investigation.

It's okay I wouldn't expect NC State fans to know what that kind of talent looks like.

Maybe they wouldn't have gotten all that talent without breaking the rules that caused the investigations

I am soooo sick of hearing the "UNC would have been a national contender" talk. They had ALL of those same players the year before and won 8 games. The bottome line is that in the NCAA BALANCE wins championships. UNCs defense was still pretty dang good with Coples and Paige Moss on the line (both considered two of the top DL prospects for 2012). Your problem isn't your talent...its your coach and it will continue to be your coach. He is the Amato of UNC...Gets all the talent in the world but at the end of the day he's only going to win 8 games.
Tell me how you really feel.

Butch winning 8 per year is good enough for me right now. Head over heels better than Bunting.
