Bunker at the end was the best, protects against more threats. Wish that guy would have got more time on the show.

Unfortunately I can't collect firearms until poo hits the fan because of being a felon. Otherwise I run the risk of being in prison during the bad times....and that's no good.

you can own a bow. something is better than nothing. u can also own black powdered weapons (last time i checked). not as speedy a reloading time, but stash a few loaded and its better than nothing.

My little mental checklist for the next year or so.

Pistol (9mm/.40) 1000+ rounds. Mags enough.
Shotty.
Bug out bag.
See if some friends want to take it seriously enough to plan with me.
Rifle with acceptable clip/range.

thats a good start. id go with 9mm simply bc the ammo is cheaper. no need to start a caliber war here but well placed shots is all you need. to get proficient you have to get trigger time. 40 is expensive.

You want to go with either 9mm or .45, they are the most popular and used by cops and armed forces. Finding .40 ammo would be a bitch.

dont know may pd's that use .45. mostly all 9 and 40 with NCHP using 357sig. id still go with a "wonder 9".
