very wise... although it looks like you'll be on the hook for a while.. I guess no matter how many bridges I burn, I'll always have one friend who can't leave.

I just hope there is a natural justice and it will be swift in dealing with whomever is/was involved with this beautiful child's untimely demise.

And if they need help........

You said the jury took only a short time and was unanimous as if that was somehow evidence of her innocence. I pointed out to you OJs jury did that too.

Doesn't imply a connection between the two. Just points out that what you said doesn't really lend any credibility to her innocence.

Do we KNOW OJ did it?

I'm sure you examined all of the evidence very closely

I think she's guilty. You don't. We each have our opinions and one of us is wrong.

It'll have no real effect on my life either way, but I think it's a travesty. Again, feel free to think differently. I honestly don't care, though I do find it amusing that the folks who are taking people to task for expressing outrage are expressing their own outrage over other people's outrage.

You ask "Why do you care about something that has no effect on you?"

I ask " Why do you care that I care?"

Nope, I didn't watch one day of the trail. And I'm not going to call her guilty or blame the jury who didn't find her her guilty because I don't know and neither do you. According to the way the system is set up our default is "innocent until proven guilty".

edit: also i never asked about why you care

 in the tinderbox much? I don't trust the media. They have an agenda and it's isn't yours or mine.

I've served on a jury in a murder trial.

If the jury pool had a minimum IQ requirement, probably close to half of my fellow jurors would never have made it. And I seriously doubt that trial was unique in that regard.

This is one of the things I really hate about the justice system.

I have also been a juror on a murder trial. Agree about the jury. In my case the prosecution did not prove the case...the other jurors voted guilty for reasons such as, "the police know more about the case than we so and they think he is guilty so he must be." There was also the, "he looks guilty." (He was Hmong).

I would not want to put my life in the hands of a jury.

I took my responsibility very seriously. Found myself listening and thinking differently, trying very hard to focus on evidence and be as objective as possible. Hope the jurors in this case did as well.

Just because someone is indicted doesn't mean they are guilty. I watched a good bit of this on HLN and I am not so sure the jury got it wrong.

Let the hate rain down on me now ;)

I think she is guilty but they did not prove anything other than she is a liar.

Never say never...What's stopping her from leaving the country, writing a tell all book that she will make millions off of and living happily ever after on some tropical island that she owns from the $$$ she made off all this. It's the Americn Dream I tell ya!

Not sure if this has been mentioned already, but Jose Biaz holds the rights to any books, movies, etc. It's how the family paid him.
