no one. I like the potential of our young guys, and i'm pretty damn sure pilares is going to be a beast too.

Yeah, I don't think we'll sign any big names. If we bring in a wideout, he'll be young and cheapish.

We've been so complacent with our past offseasons, we've actually grown into being ok with letting two vastly unproven 2nd year players start for us (if 89 is indeed gone)? I'm with the few of you who say: sign a FA WR, the biggest and fastest and most reliable one we can. If we dumpster dive, we'll snag another Hackett...

Anyone who watched our games last year knows we need another reciever. lettuce be real tea. We wont get holmes or rice. So next in line would be Edwards, Jones or Floyd

I wish UNCW had a football team so I could ride the jock strap of any of their players in the NFL (not that they would have any)

I went to UNCW in 2000

I want Holmes, Rice, or Edwards. But Floyd/Jones arent bad either.

I'm telling ya, Breaston would be a nice pick up if he doesn't go back to the desert.

Can't believe Sidney Rice is leading this poll.

He had one good year...when Favre had a monster year.

Outside of that he has underperformed in his career.

There is no other WR out there even close to Holmes.

If we decide to go big at CB or DL, Jacoby Jones would be an interesting pick. Both him and James Jones are somewhat inconsistent but when they play well, they play like true #1s imo. And Jacoby finished last year on a tear

I'm tellin' ya we'll find a solid addition from this group of wideouts regardless of the choice

No doubt Holmes is the most proven and talented as of now, but its interesting to see these other options because this WR UFA pool is pretty darn good compared to the past few years.

Gettis & LaFell probably aren't going to play much in the slot and the Pilares/Armanti situation is hard to predict, so maybe a smaller receiver is smarter. He's not even that short at 5-11 and is only 27. He makes a lot of damn sense. If we don't fork out the money though, its quite an evenly talented crop.

I personally voted for Breaston. If he didn't admit to the knee problem from 2009, he would no doubt be up there with Holmes imo. If he really produced that consistently with that knee issue (now resolved), he becomes incredibly enticing. Especially because the Cardinals aren't really listing him as priority and neither side seems very anxious. Could be a steal

And Lance Moore would be a good talent to ****** away from the Saints. He came back from his 09 injury very strong last season w/ 66rec-763yds-8tds

Rice, when given good Qb play has shown the ability to play as high as a level as Holmes. In fact, Rice best season is better than Holmes best. Yes he had the benefit of playing with Farve but so has Holmes with Big Ben and for a longer time.
Switch their team and Id believe we'd see Rice enjoy success and Holmes struggle.

As far current career comparison, Holmes is ahead no question. But for future success picking Rice isnt crazy at all. At their best there on the same level.
