Newton might throw for 500 yards Sunday. Seriously. The Jags got torched by the Jets last week. Newton does not rattle and he does not flinch and the Jags are going to have a heck of a time handling Steve Smith. This could be Newton's first NFL win, after a couple of tough losses to start the year.

MJD + a decent passing day by Gabbert could make for a long day.
i full expect us to load up against the run and blitz the poo out him on 3rd downs and make him beat us....

remember how frustrating it was to watch carolina's defense get methodically pushed down the field because they could stop the run? remember how much time was burned off the clock? remember how little opportunity the offense had to get on the field and score points? remember how out of rhythm the offense was because of it?
that's what jacksonville is going to try to do.
i think it's going to be a lot uglier than people think.
yep. when facing MJD...losing Beason, Davis, and now Godfrey is huge.
If Cam has an off day where he isn't breaking NFL records and looking the complete opposite of what a NFL rookie QB should be......what are we going to do?
We can't stop a MJD......and no one has stepped up to move the chains if Cam ain't slinging the rock well.
