harris was benched because he apparently was at fault for the megatron TD and the crazy run that broke the bears back.

merriweather got benched because, surprise, he was more interested in hitting people than tackling.

I think both our starting safeties are better than he is at this point in his career but I'd love to have him in as a backup/leadership kinda guy. He may not be an every-down player for us but he could contribute

edit: no I don't think we'll ever get him back, just saying.

Wasn't that Harris' first game back off a leg injury? Merriweather deserves it though, that guys been horrible the last few seasons.
