So RR wants to talk to Hurney about possibly signing some LBs and/or active some from the PS. Who would you want to sign?

Better question is who are some nice LBs to look for in the draft. I'd say it's a position that is tied with CB for second after DT at this point, might even surpass it. I don't expect Connor to stay for pennies and there is NO OLB. Sorry but I think Davis is done.

I wouldn't worry about Hurney and his ability to chose a decent linebacker though. We still need him to get us a DT and for the love of god a WR.

need to sign some vets to bring in to stop the bleeding. There are some bodies out there that could come in over the bye and be ready to fill in for a few games. Practice squad guys will just make us worse.

I don't know if DT is as dire as it was last year. Get some healthy veterns to rotate in with the young DT's and I think we're okay at that position. They need some experience to learn from. That being said if there is a complete stud DT available with out pick I think they pull trigger.

But with as weak as this defense is up front they prob will take BPA of either DT's or LB's.

Personally I think LB at this point is a bigger need, our depth is really thin there without Davis, which most assume is done (a miracle would be nice). We already invested two draft picks into DT's who need time to develop, I see us going FA here, and drafting a LB early.
