Blackmon physically looks like the 2nd coming of Calvin, doesn't he?

Panthers could use someone like that, without doubt, but, serious defensive problems, and the need for another OT (and now Bell isn't the long-term answer and Gross is getting long in the tooth) will probably not make that possible, but, who knows.

Hard to find quality OTs and DTs past round 2.

I just hope, somewhere along the way, the Panthers draft a kicker who can kick-off and make field goals...sick already of Mare.

Imagine if we had both Kalil brothers and both were successful? Collect the whole set.

Also yes I love Blackmon but he's no CJ. He's 6-1 and 215 lbs. He reminds me of Anquan Boldin.

I want to say Blackmon but doesn't he have off the field stuff following him around from the past? Not sure where JR/Hurney stand on those subjects...SO!....

I'll go with Morris Claiborne or Brandon Thompson.

Calvin Johnson is 6'5 and and weighs 235.

Justin Blackmon is 6'1 and weighs 210.

Those two are nothing a like physically.

But, if I were making the pick? Morris Claiborne, Dre Kirkpatrick, Justin Blackmon, or, I would trade back and try and get Janoris Jenkins while picking up a third.

No.
Calvin Johnson is 6'5" 235.
Blackmon is 6'1" and twenty pounds lighter.
Guy wears big pads. Doesn't fill them well.

LB Vontaze Burfict

The best linebacker in the draft. Fills our biggest defensive need (that's not a veteran DT), which is finding a replacement for TD. (This all assuming the coaching staff feels he can play outside).

holy poo I agree with GRG

although I'm not sure there is a DT worthy of being picked in the top 5-10(more than likely we pick in top 10, but I could see us getting a top 5 pick). it'd be awesome if we trade down and pick up a 3rd rounder or something.
