Its finally here!!! In just a few short hours we will finally see who the hottest team in the east is. All the big wig tv guys always say pitt is the team thats the best. Well tonight is the night we show them they can be beat by a better team the CANES!!! Go Canes! I hope we put a hurtin on ole syd the kid!

Canes win 3 - 2 in OT. Playoff ticket is pretty much punched. 8 points up on 9th place and 6 points up on 8th place. Now we just need to keep it up and get the first round Home ice.

Canes are finally back again. It feels like it's been too long.

We are going to the playoffs again...Got to keep foot on gas though to win home ice. Tie the season series with Pittsburgh. Only teams to worry about would be boston and philly, we lost season series against them. 3 Games to go....

Philly lost in overtime so they have the 4th seed now, but we've clinched a playoff birth and are sitting in the 5th spot. Both teams have 95 points. We have 3 games left, both Philly and Pitt have 4 games left on the season.

We lost to philly before our streak. The only teamed that scared me we beat tonight. Granted it took overtime to do it... we still beat the best in the east and no one can say otherwise. If we can play with this mentality on the road... I think we got the east. I know thats a stretch, but we are the best team in the east. We just proved that tonight. Goooo Canes!
